Re: Alternate hotels for BrickFest 06?

(...) Really? That isn't consistent with what I saw on Google Maps.   Re: Alternate hotels for BrickFest 06?

(...) Hi Rob, there really isn't any place within walking distance of the Premiere. However, you can check the following web page for alternate hotels close to Tyson's Corner. If you look there, you'll see the convention hotel listed at the bottom. (...) (18 years ago, 4-Jul-06, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

  Re: BrickFest Bulletin: Mindstorms/Technic Contests

(...) The balls will be free to roll randomly about the playing area. There is no set positioning for balls at the start of each match, but we will try to get them "evenly" deistributed around the table. The field is not divided. It is one large (...)   Alternate hotels for BrickFest 06?

I'm trying to conserve as much money as possible so I can actually [attend] BrickFest this year, and I was wondering what other hotels were [VERY] near the convention hotel that I might could use points for instead of cash. I'll quite possibly have (...) (18 years ago, 4-Jul-06, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

  Re: BrickFest hotel airport shuttle

(...) We will have one dedicated shuttle driver for the convention (they have a driver available anyways - we got an extra), so that may not be accurate. It appears that the above service is independent - I'll check on that. Joe (18 years ago, 3-Jul-06, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

  Re: BrickFest Bulletin: Mindstorms/Technic Contests

(...) This sounds interesting. A couple questions though... 1. Will the balls be able to roll freely or will something be used to hold them in position? 2.   Re: BrickFest Bulletin: Mindstorms/Technic Contests

You are correct. I did not measure them correctly. The balls are 2". They are the duplo balls that come in the FLL and NXT kits. Sorry for the confusion, Bryan (18 years ago, 26-Jun-06, to lugnet.events.brickfest)
