Hey everyone! If you’re bringing a MOC or two to BrickFest PDX ... (and you should be!) PLEASE take the time to fill out a MOC card here for each MOC you’re bringing.

In addition to being really spiffy to look at, and print out, these cards are a vital part of the planning process because they let your theme coordinator know how many MOCs to plan for. We’re getting down to the finalization of all the theme areas so this info is very important.

Thanks muchly for your help!

See you in Portland! (Oregon, USA, Earth :-) )

I plan on bring several MOC trains, some are still been built. But not sure , which MOC’s until I start packing.

You might want to do a trial pack now, so you KNOW what you’re bringing, as your theme(s) coordinator(s) really need to know what you’re bringing if at all possible, so as to ensure they’ve organized the needed space. We’re 10 or so days away now, so space allocations are already getting frozen.

Can I make the Display signs there ? Do I have to have signs for my models ? (even though I hope too). Even if I have to draw them up.I havn’t got a printer that works at the moment.

The MOC card form lets you make very handsome printable files. You can save the PDF that is generated and have a friend or co worker print them for you. Those printed MOC cards are strongly preferred to hand made signs, especially if your theme is running any contests or whatever, so your work isn’t inadvertantly overlooked.

Also, is there a computer , that I could download my Lego pictures .Or put them on CD . And if someone to help me do it , as my computer skills are not the best. But are getting better everyday.

Many Thanks, Teunis.

I would not count on being able to print MOC cards, burn CDs or do anything complicated at the fest itself. There surely will be a Kinkos or similar nearby where you could print things or rent computer use, but that will cost serious money.

I would advise printing whatever you possibly can in advance.

(...) Just After I wrote the last message, I realized , that the MOC cards also reserve display space. So I have taken the time to make them on the computer. But havn't Printed them out. I need to recant something and apologise for any confusion (...) They are printable HTML pages, not PDFs (...) and this is not correct, you cannot save them, you need to print them then and there, Saving them is not practical as they save as HTML (...)
