I'm starting to get lots of questions from many of you about what to do and how to get involved in BrickFest PDX. So here is a short list. I hope this will help.
Register http://pdx.brickfest.com/registration/index.php Advanced registration
deadline is January 30th.
Then, Preparing for the Convention - updates are on:

• Build a module for one of the community projects. If you don’t see a project that fits your interest feel free to propose it to the community and the organizers. http://pdx.brickfest.com/projects.php
• Check out a Mosaic portion to build and bring http://pdx.brickfest.com/projects.php
• Build a MOC (My Own Creation) and fill out a MOC & display sign for it
• Get involved in the online community at LUGNET, FBTB.net, BZPower.com, and LEGO.com's own discussion forums
• Find a competition you're interested in and get ready http://pdx.brickfest.com/contests.php
• Sign up to be a vendor in the Brick Bazaar and we will generate a list so that you can pre order from these vendors and acquire the brick you need to finish your MOCs
• Prepare your fleet for the Pirate Game
• Become a Presenter! Do you have something you'd like to present as a game, seminar, contest, etc? Sign up now to give a presentation at BrickFest PDX 2004! http://pdx.brickfest.com/presenter_form.php
At the Convention
• Volunteer to help set up!
• Give a presentation
• Buy, sell, and trade at the Brick Bazaar
• Check the schedule to find what sessions you're interested in
• Display your MOC
