I just completed my arrangements for Brickfest and was wondering which other
train heads would be there! This is my first BF and can’t wait! Finally get
to meet some more east coast brethren (and sister-ern too).
Is anyone thinking about doing or working on a train session? There’s a lot
of great topics out there these days, I was hoping to see the LDCC (DCC on
the RCX) converted trains and get a good look at what it takes to make the
motor mods.
Maybe an ad hoc open mic session where anyone can bring a MOC up for 5
minutes or so and point out some of the details! I always learn more about a
MOC after someone points out the subtle details. I find that my head gets
sensory overloaded at these conferences and I wished that I had spent more
time 1:1 talking to “so-and-so” about their MOCs! This could be a good 1:many
time but not strap someone down to preparing an hour worth of material.
I’m thinking that an ILTCO round table / open forum would be great; I think
Larry’s might have this planned.
