Hey all!

My first complete creation in over a year consists of 30 pieces, but it is
probably my most creative creation ever. This, fellas, is the height of my
skill so far. ;-)

The Monkeypede.

A hideous yet cute creature. This is a centipede, whose legs are made from
brown left monkey arms. These are present in enormous quantities in the
Brickfest K8 collection. (Only left arms, not right ones!)  Sitting in the
K8 room with Judy Miller (winner of K8-room first prize in 2001, second
prize this year) is great fun,... and seeing the way she uses pieces
creatively really makes you think. I was inspired to try and do something
that's never been tried before, and the result is in front of you:

The Monkeypede won first prize for MOCs (K8 room) at Brickfest 2002.

Plus, it is a great source for puns. For example... This creation is just
not right. Or: the Monkeypede has two left feet. And of course, Tim's
potty-humor is my favorite... "Shiri's monkey peed!"

LMKWYT!

YOU GOT COMPETITION NOW!!!!! Mike Harrod (If my head (...) (22 years ago, 6-Aug-02, to lugnet.build, lugnet.events.brickfest)

(...) Hello Shiri, It's not hideous, it's ... fascinating. It's life, but not as we know it! It's something that my separated from the left half, right half liniar non-lateral thinking male brain never would have dreamed of to come up with. In other (...)
