I'm rather embarrassed but there was a snafu in the shipping of the prizes and I didn't quite got them in time for BrickFest PDX. They arrived to me on Monday the 16th, and I am proud to say two of the three are already mailed out. The awards for (...) Hi all, Could anyone who was at BFPDX answer this? See the creature in the lower right of this photo: (URL) assume that's a Nazgul on a winged fell beast from LotR: RotK. Who built that, and do they have better photos in a Brickshelf gallery (...) (21 years ago, 18-Feb-04, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.castle)

(...) A lot of nice things can be seen in all these pictures. If only the purple didn't make it such a "loudmouth", I would love to buy Larry's building as a custom set. (...) I have also talked to Greg in person (at last year's Brickfest), and he seemed like a swell guy. (...) Greg Hyland works for TLC, at least part of the time. It's generally not good business practice to mock the people that pay your salary. I know we complain that TLC ignores us AFOLs, but having TLC make fun of us isn't an improvement. What is (...) (21 years ago, 18-Feb-04, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

That was an awesome fest! It was great visiting with everyone and putting faces to those I had not met in person before. Just to name a few it was great visiting with...
