Last-minute addition to BrickFair 2011 schedule: "Bricks in the Community"

Added at the last minute: a round table discussion at BrickFair this coming
Thursday, August 4th at 11am.
The topic is “Bricks in the Community” ... a few LUGs are working on plans for
volunteer fundraising events that feature some sort of LEGO build (a large
statue, a mosaic, etc).
(Think of a Grand Opening R2-D2 build, but to raise funds or awareness for a
charity.)
They’d like to present their ideas and progress so far, get feedback and advice,
and also hear what other groups have done to use their LEGO hobby to help
organizations within their local community.
If you, or anyone in your groups, has experience with a project like this please
stop by and share your thoughts!
