  Re: BrickFest(TM) PDX 2004 Announcement

So very sorry! My first goal was to gain consensus with *all* the west coast clubs before proceeding, and (fall on a sword) I completely overlooked Lugola. Please accept my apologies! I'm a bit of a train head and was contacting all the people that (...) (23 years ago, 14-Aug-03, to lugnet.events)

Re: Florida AFoL Fest? (was: West Coast Brick Fest - concerns and hopes)

(...) Hmm, that would be harder for me to do :-) That would take 4 vacation days (fly Friday, take off Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday). Frank (23 years ago, 14-Aug-03, to lugnet.events, lugnet.loc.us.fl, lugnet.org.us.gflug)

In lugnet.events, Todd Thuma wrote: "StudFest" was the next (...) Actually, ___THAT___ StudFest isn't here in SF, it is in The Netherlands. But it's a great idea for a name, and I'll forward it on to my acquaintances who are involved in the LGBTTQ (...) (23 years ago, 14-Aug-03, to lugnet.events)

  Re: BrickFest(TM) PDX 2004 Announcement

finally, a brick related festival coming to portland. that said, i've never been to one, and would love to know what to expect. i'm not a member of any lego related clubs (nor do i plan to be), but i am an AFOL that builds his own MOC's, and likes (...) (23 years ago, 14-Aug-03, to lugnet.events)

(...) What if it was on the weekend of Nov 22-23? Here is a event plan (just for fun)... (URL) say your coming down to eat with the folks on Thanksgiving. Here is one way it could go down... 1- Drive down Friday 2- Go to the event Saturday (maybe (...) (23 years ago, 14-Aug-03, to lugnet.events, lugnet.loc.us.fl, lugnet.org.us.gflug)

  Re: BrickFest(TM) PDX 2004 Announcement

(...) STUDFest™ is also a trademark of STUDS™ - the Sydney (Australia) LEGO® Users Group, and it relates to the meetings we have irregularly. Not that there is anything wrong with that, either.   Re: Florida AFoL Fest? (was: West Coast Brick Fest - concerns and hopes)

(...) This is certainly the model I'm hoping for. Though, I'm biased since it would mean having a Brickevent practically in my own backyard. (23 years ago, 13-Aug-03, to lugnet.events, lugnet.loc.us.fl, lugnet.org.us.gflug)
