This year at BrickFair, a grand prize of a MINDSTORMS NXT set will be
awarded to one lucky person. But, instead of the grand prize simply
being awarded to the winner of any event, everyone who enters any of
the three MINDSTORMS events will be entered into a drawing for the
prize. Additional entries will be awarded to the First place (+3
entries), Second place (+2) and Third place (+1) robots in each event.
To be eligible, a robot must qualify for the event (see rules below).
There are no limits to the number of robots a person or team may
enter.

This year's challenges include Trash Wars, Robot Jumping (death
defying long jump), and the Robot Triathlon. These are the same
events run at Brickworld, and have all proven to be fun and
challenging.
In order to qualify for Trash Wars, a robot must be able to eject at
least one ball from it's side of the playing field.
To qualify for Robot Jumping, the entry must be able to jump over a 6
inch gap, and land on the landing table.
To qualify for the Triathlon, the entry must score points in at least
two of the three events.
There's still time to build your robot. In fact, you could bring your
parts and build it there! (I'll even help). Just keep in mind, I
will be entering all the events (but will not be entered in the
drawing) :)
