We have are going to have a spectacular SPACE and Moonbase display this year at
Northwest Brick Con. There are 18 tables to fill between the two themes. That
seems like a lot but it could fill up super fast with just a few enormous MOCs.
I already know of three Mega-Moonbases (2x2, 3x3, and 5x5!). If you have
anything big coming, do let me know. Also let me know in advance if you have
any special needs like something which needs to be on the end or a corner.
If you are bringing a really big SPACE MOC, I would appreciate a heads up. The
SPACE and Moonbase will be an integrated vacuum environment. If your MOC
requires oxygen for the minifigs, let me know. We can separate the last couple
tables by a foot to keep the illusion alive. At BrickFest in Portland someone
made a kick-ass Imperial base which we put to one end like this. It was
awesome.
We will be having 3 awards for SPACE and 3 awards for Moonbase.
Best SPACE Ship
Best SPACE Ground Vehicle
Slickest SNOT
Best Moonbase
Best Mega-Moonbase
Best Floating Hallway
The Floating Hallway is just a single Moonbase corridor with a connection at two
ends. Make it as fancy as you want. No baseplate underneath is required. T
and X intersection will not be considered.
All MOCs need to be set up by the end of the day on Friday, October 5th to be
considered for judging.

to contact me and let me know of any large MOC or special needs.
Thanks!
