Just a reminder!
April 27th - 29th is BrickSouth, a AFOL Display and get together in Atlanta,
Georgia. This is in conjunction with First Lego League’s International World
Festival held at the World Congress Center during those dates. AFOLs have been
invited to set up and display their creations! FLL will host 80 teams from 30
countries. Teams will participate in a 2½ day tournament celebration of their
robotic and research accomplishments. This year’s theme, Ocean Odyssey,
challenges the children to explore the depths of our oceans and seas, helping
maintain their health, biodiversity and productivity for future generations.
The LEGO Outlet store has a special shopping event planned for those who attend
BrickSouth. Friday Night Bonanza with 20% off the regular price. (Some limits
will be in effect). Come shop the extensive Pic A Brick, and grab those Batman
sets you’ve been droolin’ over. At that event you’ll get to hang out with LEGO
folks and even an Ambassador or two.
Friday afternoon, Greg Hyland will be on hand to display his original artwork
for the Batman sets. Steve Witt will be on hand and answering your questions
about LEGO, the community, and just about anything he knows. Also visiting the
display will be some of the Creative Team at LEGO to see our creations and give
encouragement. Don’t miss the opportunity to meet the folks who make the sets
you buy at the store.
The displays will have security all during the FLL event. 20,000 People will be
on hand cheering on their Robotics Teams and also coming by to be inspired by
AFOL creations. If you haven’t committed to come to Atlanta this year, you

Thursday
11:00 AM Set Up and display all day.
8:00 PM Event site closes. Off site hang out in a CNN Center Restaurant.
Friday
8:00 AM Setup and display all day
11:00 AM Space Battle and Castle invasions.
12:00 Lunch
2:00 PM Greg Hyland Art Display
5:00 PM Chat by Steve Witt in display area.
6:00 PM Supper
8:00 PM Event site closes. Leave for BRICK BONANZA AT OUTLET
8:30 PM Brick Bonanza, hang out at the outlet with LEGO folk
Saturday
8:00 AM Display
12:00 Lunch
2:00 Begin take down (AFOL display ends)
