  Re: BrickFest Brick Engraving

(...) Tommy, For myself, one of the top talking points with my co-workers was the brick I brought back, engraved with the company's name. It's sitting on my keyboard right now. They were all suitably impressed, and both my kids were ecstatic with (...) (22 years ago, 16-Aug-04, to lugnet.events)

  BrickFest Brick Engraving

I would just like to say how much Peyton and I enjoyed BrickFest this year, eventhough I still did not get to see everything. I appreciate all those who stopped by. It appears that I have created a bit of a mini-monster with this name badge idea and (...) (22 years ago, 16-Aug-04, to lugnet.events)

  BrickFest 60-minute brick build challenge

Thanks to all the incredibly inventive builders who participated in the first (and I hope the first of many) brick build challenges in the BrickFest free building room. Saturday's theme was "build something Olympic"; the time limit 60 minutes; and (...) (22 years ago, 16-Aug-04, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.build, lugnet.events, lugnet.build.contests)

Re: STL File for 3D Printing

(...) Just a quick update on this ... The parts built with Stratasys and ZCorp machines are coming along well. My contact has printed a couple versions and Jason's been making improvements to the files that give us better results. I'll have pics (...)   Re: STL File for 3D Printing

(...) Cool! Now THAT I'd like to see done on an RP machine. Like maybe three feet tall! I wish I would've thought about that sooner; I already have one done in (URL) AutoCAD solids> and it would've been easy to convert that to STL. Oh well. Is Tim (...)   Re: STL File for 3D Printing

(...) Tommy, I can get you those tomorrow. (I just got remember is all.) Wood parts cnc'd would be pretty cool. I could get you an stl file for a baseplate (whatever number of studs by whatever number of studs) if you'd like as well. Those would be (...)   Re: STL File for 3D Printing

(...) Dear Jason, I am also interested in getting an stl file of a 2x4 brick as well as a 4x4 plate. What I would really like is to create a 6"x6" or 12"x12" base plate out of 1/4" acrylic plexiglass (or hardrock maple) for a project I have in mind. (...)
