Thanks Jack.
Boy, do I feel stupid now. We should have posted for AFOL's in the area to help
set it up. We thought we could do it fast, but we spend 12 hours straight
setting up, and building, with three people! We had tons of idea's, but no time
to finish all here in Columbus, and we took tubs and tubs of bricks we knew we
needed, and build on the spot (like most roads, and all traffic lights,
lightposts, telephone posts, and half of the raised section! We even build a lot
in the truck driving over!
We will definately take you up on help with tear-down, it will be around the
second week of Jan.!
Checking on our display will surely be appreciated. We have given them 2 trains
for each loop, so in case one slows down or so, they can switch. We only gave
them 1 monorail, but on my church I parked a second one that can run on the
layout. If you go to check it out, let me know, and I'll give the organizers a
heads-up that you are allowed to touch the display, and modify if needed.
