(...) Ahem. Thomas the Tank Engine books and records (7" 45 RPM!) were very popular in Australia in the early 70s. In Sweden the toy manufacture company BRIO has had a license to produce him and all of his friends as wooden toys for their wooden railway system (about 5-wide, i would guess), and the TV show has been shown, and is available (...)
