Dear LEGO,

Please bring back the Radio-Controlled (R/C) Receiver with the auxiliary output,
as shown here: <http://www.peeron.com/inv/parts/6272>.

This is a fantastic part because it uses standard LEGO connections (e.g. axel
hole), unlike some of the other R/C sets, where nonstandard wheels are bolted
directly to the receiver/chassis.  Thanks to these standard connections, I can
use this part as a basis for my own R/C creations.  The possibilities are
endless -- unlike most of the current offerings, where the possibilities are
highly limited and pretty much amount to decorating an existing car.

But what makes this particular receiver a real gem is tshe auxiliary output.
Just one extra motor I can control from across the room adds endless
possibilities: I can make a bulldozer that raises/lowers its blade, a dump truck
that can dump its contents, a robot that can open and close a gripper, and so
on.  Without that extra output, I really can't make anything other than a plain
vehicle, since it takes two channels just to move and steer.

So popular is this receiver that it's not even available via BrickLink in the
United States.  In fact, there are only a few of them for sale anywhere in the
world.

So please, don't drive AFOLs interested in R/C modeling to other brands of toys.
Bring back the R/C receiver with the auxiliary output.

Thank you,
Joe Strout
