Dear Lego As I sit here and hope for a "This is why we did it" post from somebody I thought of this..... Keep the old colors in production and offer them at S@H bulk sales and the PAB locations. It's not a manufacturing issue or a cost-saving issue, it's a marketing thing probably based on ease of assembly (if it's not a mistake, which I'm still willing to believe based on my Mos Eisley (...) Kid fans of LEGO eventually grow up... and they either become adult fans of LEGO, pass them on to their kids (in which case not as much LEGO is bought for the successive generation, as there is already ample supply), sell them via bricklink, (...) (...) I totally agree. What I didn't agree with was the logic being used to suggest why these changes were being made.
