 Dear LEGO / 3632 (-10)
Re: What one piece would you like to see?

(...) I didn't say it made an *attractive* 3-wide roof peak. (': Also, I do not have a big blue ox. -Erik (23 years ago, 21-Dec-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: What one piece would you like to see?

(...) The original question was soliciting ideas for pieces that don't yet exist that would we like to see. Granted nearly all the pieces mentioned so far have alternative ways of accomplishing something similar. But that's besides the point in this (...)   Re: What one piece would you like to see?

(...) I see your arguement but I still agree with Frank. We need a 1x2 and/or 2x3 low slope peak. Pleaaaaase just give us a good assortment of roof tiles! Bert Waters (23 years ago, 21-Dec-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: What one piece would you like to see?

(...) Y'all are way too obsessed over this problem. Why, when faced with a completely impossible situation like a roof peak with 3 studs to cover, I just stand on the back of my big blue ox and clap on a nice long 1x plate down the center line. (...)   Re: What one piece would you like to see?

(...) I wouldn't know, a brash young upstart like me :) Still a proper cloth-type apron would I think have a better 'feel' about it, like the difference between the little plastic capes and the big SW-style ones. All this of course depends on there (...) (23 years ago, 20-Dec-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: What one piece would you like to see?

I would like to see a pneumatic brake built into the drive/streer parts for the 8880, except with an axel instead of that strange wheel fitting, and would I be pushing my luck in asking if it could use ball/roller bearings to get rid of the (...)   Re: What one piece would you like to see?

(...) IIRC, the rebel blockade runner has (along with endless cylinder parts) white 8x8 plates. Can't remember how many. ROSCO (23 years ago, 20-Dec-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

[ ... snipped ...] There are 8x8 plates in several of the smaller HP (like 4723 (URL) They are odd colors (like (...) (23 years ago, 20-Dec-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: What one piece would you like to see?

(...) Interesting hypothetical discussion. I do think that there are plenty of good parts available already. And I have only recently mustered enough creativity to develop new ways of using old parts, including some that I thought I could never use (...)   Re: What one piece would you like to see?

(...) Didn't the original Blacksmith Shop use a brown cape worn in front to simulate a leather apron? They could make the cape in white for Town use in this way... -H. (23 years ago, 20-Dec-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)
