Re: What one piece would you like to see?

I would like to see a pneumatic brake built into the drive/streer parts for the 8880, except with an axel instead of that strange wheel fitting, and would I be pushing my luck in asking if it could use ball/roller bearings to get rid of the (...) (...) IIRC, the rebel blockade runner has (along with endless cylinder parts) white 8x8 plates. Can't remember how many. ROSCO (23 years ago, 20-Dec-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: What one piece would you like to see?

(...) Interesting hypothetical discussion. I do think that there are plenty of good parts available already. And I have only recently mustered enough creativity to develop new ways of using old parts, including some that I thought I could never use (...)   Re: What one piece would you like to see?

(...) Didn't the original Blacksmith Shop use a brown cape worn in front to simulate a leather apron? They could make the cape in white for Town use in this way... -H. (23 years ago, 20-Dec-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: What one piece would you like to see?

How about the minifig hats which, so far as I know, have appeared only on the LEGOLAND mascot/ambassador key chain. It's a black "military-style" hat, visible at: (URL) scroll down to the images called "Wing Commander's hat" (...) [snip] (...) (23 years ago, 20-Dec-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: What one piece would you like to see?

(...) I think he was meaning a peak which is 3 studs across, not 3 studs wide (the 2x3 medium slope peak in fact exists). However, what we also need is a 1x2 and/or 2x3 low slope peak. One way to solve the 3 across peak is to release a series of (...) (23 years ago, 20-Dec-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

That's what I'd call "good juniorisation" (similar to 2x2x3 brick, which I think is very useful, why don't they have a 1x2x3? 5 is a bit much) (...) Lights *would* be nice!   Re: model builder on lego.com...

(...) I really like this! For several reasons: 1) It reminds me of BlockCAD which was the app that actually got me back into real LEGO bricks. 2) It's a nice GUI. Well laid out. Easy to use. No instructions needed. 3) You don't have to login to use (...) (23 years ago, 20-Dec-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: What one piece would you like to see?

(...) This could be done with slopes that had no stud column. But somehow such pieces seem not very Lego-like. Hard for kids to work with that way.   Re: What one piece would you like to see?

(...) My vote would be for a moritorium on new parts for at least the next 3 to 5 years. Does this sound like nonsense? Perhaps.
