Re: What one piece would you like to see?

(...) Use combinations of 1x slopes. (...) strength. That's what I'd call "good juniorisation" (similar to 2x2x3 brick, which I think is very useful, why don't they have a 1x2x3? 5 is a bit much) (...) Lights *would* be nice! Could use the current (...) (23 years ago, 20-Dec-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: model builder on lego.com...

(...) I really like this! For several reasons: 1) It reminds me of BlockCAD which was the app that actually got me back into real LEGO bricks. 2) It's a nice GUI. Well laid out. Easy to use. No instructions needed. 3) You don't have to login to use (...) (23 years ago, 20-Dec-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: What one piece would you like to see?

(...) I think that it is quite interesting that there are so many useful new elements people have mentioned that could be produced, none of which even hint at juniourization. Instead, they are elements that would have general usage, useful in many (...) (23 years ago, 19-Dec-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: "MOC" Blacksmith Shop on lego.com

(...) Yes. You are absolutely correct. These are the things I've said. The two things are not mutually exclusive. I am not such a 'brick purest' that I don't recognize the value of specialty pieces. However, as mentioned, I don't buy a set because (...) (23 years ago, 18-Dec-01, to lugnet.off-topic.debate, lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: What one piece would you like to see?

(...) This could be done with slopes that had no stud column. But somehow such pieces seem not very Lego-like. Hard for kids to work with that way. It also multiplies the number of roof system pieces something fierce! You can cut your own bricks in (...) (23 years ago, 17-Dec-01, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: What one piece would you like to see?

(...) (snip) (...) i'd like to see roof slopes that combine different pitches in one block, so one could make a roof with different pitches on different sides--example: similar to the piece mentioned above, but allow 33+45, 45+75, & 33+75 deg. (...) (23 years ago, 17-Dec-01, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: What one piece would you like to see?

(...) My apologies. I spelled it wrong. It should be: moratorium - a suspension of activity (...) Star Wars Harry Potter Bionicle Jack Stone Dinosaurs They are all loaded with new parts. Was every one of those molds necessary? From what we've been (...) (23 years ago, 17-Dec-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: What one piece would you like to see?

(...) ??? (...) Yes. Utter and complete. How about a new line of windows perhaps? Personally, I could think of dozens new train parts that would enhance trains greatly. Perhaps. But I think the biggest problem (...) Glut of new parts? Sorry, can't (...) (23 years ago, 17-Dec-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: What one piece would you like to see?

(...) My vote would be for a moritorium on new parts for at least the next 3 to 5 years. Does this sound like nonsense? Perhaps. But I think the biggest problem today isn't a lack of new parts, it's a glut of new parts. It would be so nice to see (...) (23 years ago, 17-Dec-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)
