 Dear LEGO / 2517 (-20)
Re: What bulk elements would you most like to order?

(...) A Technic Bucket would be very cool. I think that there should also be those cool gears that the 8448 Supercar has to let it change gears and the shifter. I had to disassemble 2 Supercars to get enough parts to make a simple two speed (...) (24 years ago, 1-Oct-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: LEGO Ties (was: Re: Specials at The Store 30 August)

G'Day My cent and a bit, - I like 'em. But then I like flashy ties, and thankfully in my job I do not need to conform to conservative business attire. ( IT people are not expected to conform until they become managers ;) ) Cheers oliver Play well. (...) (24 years ago, 28-Sep-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: dear lego, please make...

(...) Oh, I dunno, LEGO makes enough junk as it is. <Grins, Ducks and Dodges Tomatoes> Seriously, ya, a chinese junk might be an interesting model indeed. Don't they have relatively high forecastles and aftcastles? Well suited to the height (...) (24 years ago, 28-Sep-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: LEGO Ties (was: Re: Specials at The Store 30 August)

I bought the outline tie when I was at the Lego store a couple of weeks ago. I agree that the other two, I would not wear. The outline tie is a little less "abrasive", but even though it is mostly black, the colors of the brick outlines are a little (...)   LEGO Ties (was: Re: Specials at The Store 30 August)

Dear LEGO, (...) I had heard about these ties, but hadn't seen the pictures posted before I went to the LEGO store this weekend. I was actually very disappointed with them. Yes, it's cool that LEGO ties exist (I wanted one as soon as I heard they (...) (24 years ago, 27-Sep-00, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Mr. Justus!

(...) Frank, I cannot speak for the rest of Europe, but I have always been surprised at how much more Lego variety I have found in German toy sellers, as compared to the USA. And I have been to over 100 German Lego retailers (in 13 visits to (...) (24 years ago, 25-Sep-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  LEGO.new drives me nuts!

First, it's this flash thing, but what really drives me nuts is the web club. I use Netscape Communicator 4.5 Mac version, have cookies, plug-ins and javascript enabled, but not java. First, I tried to log in to the web club several times, but my (...) (24 years ago, 24-Sep-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general) !

Re: What bulk elements would you most like to order?

(...) <snipped your URL since it has your sessionid in it> No, actually, you cannot. You cannot, for example, buy my favorite connector, the 1.2L pin/stud in light gray, in 100 packs. What you can buy is a pack that has an assortment of some of the (...) (24 years ago, 21-Sep-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: What bulk elements would you most like to order?

I wish Pitsco had more of the oddball gears, such as the double-bevels, the clutch gear, the ball gears, the Vision Command gearboxes, the oddball sized gears, the clear-hole gear. I also wish they would make a set of specialty gears including: (...) (24 years ago, 21-Sep-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: What bulk elements would you most like to order?

(...) We just need to see the return of 8277 Giant Model Set. If you're willing to go to some effort to get one, the TRU in Danville VA had a couple just before Labor Day. I agree though that for bulk packs related to Technic we need: each size beam (...) (24 years ago, 21-Sep-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: What bulk elements would you most like to order?

(...) Actually, I'd love to see a Technic Bucket containing lots of beams + some connectors and gears and other fancy technic parts. Seems like this would be a good robotics companion piece. (24 years ago, 21-Sep-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Mr. Justus!

(...) Mail ordering is starting to bloom here in the sector of computer hardware. Often you can buy your stuff, especialy cables and extentions, cheaper over the internet than in a specialised computer store. I think that is because they have lower (...)   Re: Important additions to my last posting!

(...) Yes this is very encouraging news.... very encouraging. And I expect more little bugs in the future, but by the sound of it, TLC is on top of it. And it is very gratifying to see that we are listened to after all. (God Bless you KKK and the (...) (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.dear-lego)
