(...) that would probably do it. When you click on the picture, do you see it in your main browser window, or do you see it pop up in a new window? I'm guessing your popup stopper forced it to display in your current window, which has scrollbars (...) (22 years ago, 20-Jun-02, to lugnet.db.scans)

(...) Opera gives no scrollbars but allows one to move the image via the cursor keys. It also allows one to resize the whole page, or in this case the image, to a more desirable (viewable) percentage of the actual size. You'd be surprised how handy (...)
