Hey Y'all:
Has there ever been discussion about adding box art to the set database
maintained By Kevin Loch? I note that there are some semi-rare sets that I
have MISB copies of and would be pleased to add the box art to the database.
In particular I think people would be interested in alternate model pictures
that are not part of the instructional booklet. Other times I think the
interest might be just to see some of the different angles of the intended
set, or the semi-narrative images that TLC sometimes provides.
As my sets are sealed or newly opened -- my instructional booklets are often
in VERY good condition, often better than what is currently included in the
database. Does Kevin look forward to such upgrades to the database -- or is
the intent just to give users access to the instructions however badly
reproduced, and without regard to the condition of the source booklets?
Thanks in advance,
Hop-Frog

| Richard, I assume you have seen this, but just in case: (URL) seems to answer some of your questions at any rate. HTH, Matt (24 years ago, 27-May-01, to lugnet.db.scans)

| (...) I think this would be great. We have images of the box fronts in many cases, between LUGNET and Brickset, but not often do we have the backs! (...) I think Kevin welcomes submission of "better" scans and does use them whenever possible. (...) (24 years ago, 27-May-01, to lugnet.db.scans)
