Set 1715 does have an entry in the database which is entirely correct.
Additionally, the boxes I have are all marked with a retail price sticker of
9.99 USD.
Set 1743 is set 1715 re-packaged.
The contents are identical, only the packaging is different. Piece count is
400, released ©1995, 1996.
This set was purchased as part of a retail multi-pack also containing set 4162
and a plastic storage tub. Storage tub is similar to the one that was part of
set 1853 only larger and blue in color. The multipack master unit does not
have an additional item number as it was advertised as set 4162 with the tub
and set 1743 offered FREE.
Set 1857 is a larger version of set 1715.
This is a BASIC set which contains 950 pieces, released ©1996, 1997.
The box I have does not have a retail price sticker and I do not know how much
I paid for this item, but I would guess the list price to have been $12.99
BTW, I was always very pleased with the quality of the pieces from these three
boxed sets, versus the quality of pieces from the 400 piece purple buckets
which was reported to be slighly less than usual Lego standards (excessive
flash, do not snap together or come apart easily, etc).
If anyone desires the inventories for these items, I would be happy to provide
them for the respository.
