What's the differance between these two parts?

I dunno, but there's another pair too, 4215 and 30007, which are both 1x4x3
panels. These are both in the Brickbay catalog, only 4215 is in Partsref,
but both are in Peeron:

When RTL first broke the news of the new numbering system (7 digit instead
of 6), it was mentioned that TLG would use both numbers for "awhile".  No
reason was known.  Other such pairs:

2507/30058
4346/30059
4345/30060
3960/30065
2408/30097
