There's a related project (ongoing) which right now (or recently was) taking
a look at reorganizing names and categories for LDraw parts -- a great place
to help with that out would be to check around in the lugnet.cad.dev group.
Look for posts by Steve Bliss, I think.  He's also the guy who created and
maintains the PartsRef catalog:
