Thank you for the correction.
The set with parts has the ID #1030 but the building cards alone have the ID
#1031.  Weird.
My mistake for not confirming the correct URL at Kevin Loch's Brickshelf.

More importantly, now we all know that C S Soh dabbles in more than just
pneumatics.  #1031 shows no air power.

For those of you who want to expand your mind or otherwise improve your
skills away from elegant vehicles and grandiose buildings, you should build
some of the more interesting but simple models at
http://www.brickshelf.com/scans/1000/1031/index.html.  You will enjoy the
huge "universal joint" at
http://www.brickshelf.com/scans/1000/1031/1031-20a.html.

Thank you, Miles Gentry

You can see the building instruction scans for #1030 at >ww.brickshelf.com to get an estimate of the parts needed.

I can't find 1030  (or 9030, in case it was a typ0) at Briskshelf or
Pause. Where did you find these scans, Miles?

It should be 1031, here

(...) Wait till I pneumaticise them ;-) Seriously, I would make #1031 essential reading for all Technic and robot builders. The mechanisms shown therein are fundamental and will crop up time and again in various models. Enjoy! -- C S Soh (URL) where (...)
