I have a quest for you all.
I have been asked if it is possible to make winged minifigs (with dragon
wings). I know I have seen some really good solutions to this problem but I
can't remember where I saw it. All my prototypes of winged minifigs look either
awful or almost ok. ;)
Any suggestions?

Richard Marchetti has a neat looking fig here:

In the same vein, there is a part that exists for
attaching two studs behind a minifig:

The "M-Tron Rocket Pack," which came with several sets
(in blue with the Solar Power Transporter, grey with
another set IIRC, and black in M-Tron).  It's not
particularly "available" at present but it does an OK
   job of holding wings.

Amother possibility, if the position of the wings is
a bit fudgeable, are Hydronaut helmets.

(...) LFB, those are indeed non-custom, non-xacto blade solutions -- but unless you are doing winged space monkeys, they kinda suck. I mean this in the best way possible... =oP -- Hop-Frog (23 years ago, 25-Jun-01, to lugnet.castle)
