I am very pleased to announce the very first ever posting of pictures of my
very own original MOCs....very.(?!)

The first set of pics is of a battering ram I made for my wolfpack figs. My
wife says it looks like a "really bad chipmunk".(!!) I've never quite
forgiven her for that. My therapist says I'm recovering nicely. Here's the pics:

A bad chipmunk? Ouch. That's a pretty cool idea. Looks like a wolf to me.
Nice job!

The second set of pics is of a wind-driven amphibious land cruiser that I
made for the Black Falcons. It can go on land or in water...that's why I
call it "amphibious". :^) It can cross moats and the front end is high
enough to breach most castle walls...and beware the talons. Check it out:

Another creative idea. The 'talons' are great. Seems like something that
would scare away any killer 'Crocs in a moat or some such. :) I kinda hate
to say something 'bad'.. and hopefully it isn't taken as such..but the shape
almost reminds me more of a.. well.. a pheasant than it does a
falcon..(waits to be put on the list with your wife over calling your MOCs
silly names!) but hey.. It's still an awesome idea.

Last but not least, the Dark Fortress of the Warlord of Blakk. The first two
pics are of the the Warlord of Blakk himself - my favorite custom fig to
date. Following are about a gazillion pics of the fortress - built on a
stone pillar at the bottom of the Blakk Valley, it rises five stories from
it's base with two towers rising even higher. The Blakk valley is so deep
and thickly forested that it only has one hour of daylight at high noon.
Because of it's constant darkness it has become overrun with bats - the
emblem of the Blakk Horde. It has been rumored that the Blakk Valley is what
David referred to in Psalm 23 as "the valley of the shadow of death". It is
also rumored that the Warlord of Blakk was alive centuries ago when the
psalm was written - they say he stays alive by consuming his enemies (or
maybe it's just a "Dread Pirate Roberts" kinda thing). Here's the pics:

Now THIS is just.. wow. _Very_ nice. I really like the winding path up to
the fortress through the rock foundation. It's something I've realized I'm
struggling with badly - figuring out a good placement/pattern for use of BURP's
to make them look natural.. I like how you did it. Guess I need to study up
and experiment more (and spending less time trying to complete my
space/mecha themed stuff..gah.).

The levels are all nice. I like the abundant use of the 2x3 slopes. It
really gives me a sense of forboding strength - like it would take an awful
lot to crack through or assault one of those walls.

Some questions for you -

1. What set did you get the torso for your Warlord of Blakk fig from? It
seems familiar but I'm just blanking on what it belongs to?

2. I might have just missed it in the pic's but where does the large door
for the stable come out on the pathway, as seen in this pic?

I've looked and I just don't see it on the outside.. :)

I feel like a proud new father! And remember all babies are cute so if you
don't like my MOCs make up something nice to say. :^) Seriously, all
criticisms are welcome....let me know what you think.

"I'm NOT PLAYING, I'm CREATING!!"

As well you should be with MOC's like this! Thanks for sharing, Bill.
Please, keep it up!
