Castle tends to be what you make of it, its a part of the beauty of
LEGO :^)

I believe that the Knights Kingdom stuff is a good supplement to my
other Castle stuff, which ranges from some scattered Crusaders and
Black Falcons thru a bunch of Dragon Masters all the way to the recent
Knights Kingdom sets. Some of it is just going to depend upon how big
you want your KK faction and what your budget is :^) I am working on
assembling a couple of armies, have been forever (at least since 1981
:^) I tend to get a bunch of the smaller sets and minifig packs, with
varying amounts of the larger ones depending upon how much I like the
model/set. Also factoring into this is if I can find what I want on
clearance :^))

I like the Ninja sets, they provide a set compatible yet different
"tools" to utilize. There are those who don't consider Ninja to be
Castle, they have their opinion, I have mine :^) Mike Steels's Great
Wall creation does show what can be accomplished with the nInja
elements, there are others that have done excellent other creations
that either combine Ninja with stuff from another theme or stand very
well on their own merits. I like the Ninja better than the Fright
Knights, but my first Castle set was a half of a 6077 Knight's
Procession... so I have my own bias's :^)

All other themes are just spare parts for Castle!
