Re: Helfire - a microfig scale castle town

(...) For baseplates that are completely flat (i.e. no vertical geographical features like hills) all you have to do is flip it over and bend it a few times in different directions. Then, of course, you have to spend a few minutes looking for some (...) (25 years ago, 29-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Out of principle, I WON'T reply! "Um, Shiri...? You just did." "Oh. Ooops." ;-) (...) That'd be cool, but it would be really hard to convey what it is, I guess... -Shiri (25 years ago, 29-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Helfire - a microfig scale castle town

(...) Hee, hee. Here's another one for you to reply to. One comment, and I'll quit buggin' you. ;) You should do a NANOfig scale city (1x1x3 skyscapers, small buildings as 1x1 plates, etc. Just an idea, I don't know how it'd look. -Chris (25 years ago, 29-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Helfire - a microfig scale castle town

(...) Thanks! (...) Hmm... when I started, the only things I decided for sure were: a. my inn had to be part of it b. the whole town had to fit on an island baseplate I had no idea how many buildings will be there whatsoever - just that there will (...) (25 years ago, 29-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Helfire - a microfig scale castle town

(...) It worked out really well, especially the Inn's roof. I haven't seen microfig scale used for a townscape (I must get out more, :) ). Maybe Australians should work in that scale exclusively (Lego prices in Oz). Could you whip up a bigger town, I (...) (25 years ago, 29-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Helfire - a microfig scale castle town

(...) Thanks! It took me a while to figure out. At first I just used an apex piece and a peak, but it didn't look right and anyway that's not what I'm gonna do to the bigger inn's roof. (...) Well, the BP you sent me will join the others I'm about (...) (25 years ago, 29-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Helfire - a microfig scale castle town

(...) Pretty nice, darlin'! I like the way you did the Inn roof; I'd never thought of something like that. Now, you need to expand and make a HUGE town. Maybe for part of it you could use that baseplate I sent you... -Chris (25 years ago, 29-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

That looks really fantastic! It looks like a medieval, high-rise, city! I especially like the gray/red building that sticks up the tallest. Great Job! Joel Kuester <septenemae@hotmail.com> wrote in message news:Fs4D30.3n4@lugnet.com... (...) (25 years ago, 29-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

Forestmen, Wolfpack, Bull-men, and the Undead

That other thread seemed to be getting too long, so I thought I'd add my thoughts here. In my world, here's how it goes. The Forestmen are Robin Hood types. They have their own secret forest hideouts and little castles. They live off the forest, but (...) (25 years ago, 29-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)
