IMHO these are some of the best kept secrets for good parts around.  I have
been picking up 6766's on Clearance at my local TRU now for months.

Yes the figs suck although the female head is good and the male heads are OK
barbarians plus you end up with a lot of canoes and Tee Pee's but the rest is
very good.  Along with a plethora of black weapons as stated above some of
the highlights in my oppinion are as follows.

You're right, I just found a large supply of Wild West sets, and they've got
lots of great parts!  I currently have my eye set on 6748 Boulder Cliff
Canyon.

This is a good set for parts too and it is cheaper.  What puts Rapid River
Village over the top for me is the 2 16x32 Tan Baseplates.  Boulder Cliff only
has the one 32x32 Tan Baseplate with the river printed on it.  The River makes
it much less useful IMO.

It also contains many of the pieces you mentioned earlier, such as lt. gray
BURPS, those 2x2 brown cylinder bricks, etc.  What really grabs my attention
is the boulder itself; those bricks (don't know what they're called) are quite
rare!

They are fairly rare and I have a few.  It's just that I have not found a use
for them yet.

Hey if you can live with a bunch of nearly useless figs and Horses this is a
great set for parts.

I'm sure somebody will buy the minifigs... :)

You would be supprised.  These figs just don't seem to hold any value.  I am
sure if you found the right person they could be worth selling but so far I
have not found that person.
