We have the pictures for the set. I dont have the energy to setup a webpage with
the pictures of the prototype but I can email the .jpgs if anyone is interested.
We have been emailing out the details on the project as below. If there are
individuals interested, please contact us. Sincerely, The Kelley Family

Dear Family, Extended Family and Friends:

For those of you who havent heard from us in some time or havent gotten to
know us very well? One of the things that our family has gone through in
the past 3 years of building All About Family is the death of one of our
children. On Fathers Day in 2005 our youngest son Joshua Jackson Kelley
died in our arms after having had two open heart surgeries. This was the
toughest circumstance that we have experienced ever and to this day I still
dont know how to react and it becomes discouraging at times. One way that I
have been able to heal is by building a community group called All About
Family and bringing families together. It has been encouraging, sometimes
very tough as we have poured a lot of our own time and volunteer hours into
All About Family, however the reward is seeing a dozen families together
playing, laughing, eating and having fun TOGETHER on a saturday
afternoon.... That no one can take away. My son is gone and I have to deal
with that, however I can do something that will encourage OTHER families as
they go through similiar experiences so I created something that I feel
will encourage some young people as they experience heart conditions and I
created a Custom LEGO® Set in his honor and memorial. We will be giving one
out of every 5 sold to a child who has experienced a heart condition. I
have written about it below. If any of you are interested in ordering one
of these sets this please let us know. They are $40 plus $5 shipping and
handling. For every 4 sold, one will be given to a child who has
experienced a heart condition. We guarantee that. We will also do the
outreach to find the children through working with other organizations and
childrens hospitals.

We will NOT make any money on these sets or the sales of them, I am willing
to have a formal audit done of this project. Any of the monies left over
after paying for the parts and production of these sets will be used for
the All About Family LEGO® Club we do for Kids and Families here in the
Twin Cities.

I am a Minneapolis dad who lost his son on fathers day a year past June. He
died in my arms after 2 open heart surgeries and in the midst of our
circumstance we lost our housing and had to move immediately. (4 days after
burying him.) It has been very tough and I have been trying to find ways to
heal. I am an art teacher part time and a professional toy dealer and LEGO®
enthusiast. One of the ways I was able to combine those backgrounds with a
project that would help go through this was by creating a Custom LEGO® set
to honor my son. I have incorporated my faith in Jesus Christ which I will
write in a page that goes with this set, I have also created a tower set
which represents my son going to heaven and standing tall overseeing the
rest of the world, and the King welcoming him. It is done in a Castle theme
and we will be selling the set so that one of each 5 can be given (donated)
to a child who has experienced a heart condition. My commitment is to make
sure that this custom set gets given out to as many children as we can give
them to. Because this is done in the traditional custom LEGO® style using
some harder to find elements, I could use any help and support people are
willing to give. You can support this project by helping donate parts, you
could also help finish the design as there are a few finishing touches
needed. I will be selling these sets also
to help support the project as a whole. If there are any families who are
interested in this project? Please let me know. Sincerely, Brian Kelley
daddy of Joshua the Lionheart, Noah the Choopety, Andrew the Kiddo and
Delaney Michael. My 4 Boys. One has gone to heaven.
