The caption reads "In a small valley after the Battle of Hydaspas in 326
B.C.Alexander the Great and one of his elite Macedonian phalanx units corners
King Porus of India."
OR
"How to use up a bunch of minifig without really trying"

Been a while since I posted and this was too fun to pass up. After spending
some money at http://www.redbeanstudio.net buying Corinthian armor sets, I
decided to put it to good use as a phalanx formation. Issac Yue, owner of Red
Bean Studio, is a great guy to buy from and work with.
Started out an a project that will be part of the November 2005 Festival of the
Masters modules that the Greater Florida LEGO Users Group will be calling the
History of Humanity (HoH) project. The idea is to build sizable macro vignettes
(3x3 green baseplates) that represent different points in history. We will then
display the vignettes in a very large U-shaped table from the dawn of man
(visualize apes)... all the way to space ships (future of man).
The theme would be all inclusive. Incidentally, the credit goes to Lenny
Hoffman for thinking this one up and who knows this might be a nice "group"
thing to do at Brickfest.
Anyway. Enjoy and appeciate all comments.
