Wow, this is great. I love the level of detail that you've made; the chess set,
the plate, the fully stocked panty. I really like the pantry, in too many of the
castle MOC's I've seen, it's ignored, or maybe the minifigs eat plastic. I love
your birch tree too, it's rare to see a specific kind of tree being made.

What is the signifigance of the hand?

This is my second MOC, a castle I built for BrickFest 2004. (URL) was inspired by the amazing work of Johannes Koehler, which can be seen particularly in the trees and building details (i.e. the balcony). Inspiration also came from Brendan Powell (...) (20 years ago, 5-Jan-05, to lugnet.announce.moc) !!
