Where did you get the idea? Somehow, the movie Waterworld comes to mind.
My favorite detail is the wizard’s hat. I guess it wasn’t necessary for TLC
to make a one-piece pointed minifig hat after all! Using the rubber band as
a hatband is perfect.

Thanks, fellow Kevin! I figured the wizard had a mechanism to stop either
flap-dealie, so as to turn. However, you idea of green flags sounds like a good
one, I shall have to try it.

I think my fave part is the wizard’s hat. We get so used to using the cast
hat that we all forget that there are other ways to make it! That’s pretty
clever. Are the rubber bands between the cone and the dish just decorative

They look a lot better with rubberbands, it smoothes out what would be an out
looking connect, given the inset bottom of the cone.

This one almost seems like (with a lot bigger balloon and a calm day, or
perhaps on a planet with lighter gravity but a denser atmosphere) it might
work with no magic needed.

No magic required, just some gas with a ridiculously low density and really
light wood ;) And yeah, low gravity might help too, but then the wizard’s
grandfather clock would be off!

Haha, thanks Mr. Bobenny. I do hope ever so much that you will make one to call
your own. The patches were alot of fun to make, its an interesting sphere,
trying to make realistic patches was an enjoyable challenge.
