    New Colors... —Nathan Schroeder
Hey all. I'm kind of a lurker here, but I do get on about everyday to read new posts, and post occasionally. I know this has been discussed ad nauseum here on lugnet, at fbtb, and about every where else Lego has an influence, but I wanted to see (...) (21 years ago, 24-Nov-03, to lugnet.castle)

        Re: New Colors... —Josh Wedin
Hey Nathan, I have avoided getting involved in the whole colors thing, but this is a good question. I don't really think the new colors will be a huge deal. I already have color variety in my grey. I have really old lego and really new lego, and (...) (21 years ago, 24-Nov-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: New Colors... Smell The Glove —Chris Phillips
(...) Ah, excellent idea! I should take up smoking to make my new bricks match my old ones! Problem solved! In all seriousness, the color change is not the end of the world. But when I read a message like yours I have to wonder whether you think the (...) (21 years ago, 24-Nov-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: New Colors... Smell The Glove —Nathan Schroeder
Hey all, thanks for responding. Personally, if I had all-encompassing power over time, space, and Lego, I would keep the colors the same as they've been, to keep my collection like it is. But, since I only have all-encompassing power over time and (...) (21 years ago, 24-Nov-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: New Colors... Smell The Glove —Josh Wedin
(...) No, I wouldn't have changed the colors. But I have a hard time seeing why people are getting so worked up over it. Legos are my hobby, not my life. I build to have fun and relax. I don't have strong emotions tied into what the Lego company (...) (21 years ago, 24-Nov-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: New Colors... Smell The Glove —Chris Phillips
(...) Thanks for answering this question. I didn't mean to single you out by asking; I've read a number of posts just like yours. I was curious about this because posts like yours suggest that you support the color change, when in fact you are (...) (21 years ago, 25-Nov-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: New Colors... Smell The Glove —Josh Wedin
Hey Chris, Thanks for the explanation. I wasn't offended. I also like Spinal Tap and I knew the reference, I just was a bit, ummm, surprised that you compared what I said to what they were saying. If I was offended, I wouldn't have put the smiley in (...)         Re: New Colors... —Johannes Koehler
Hello! (...) I want to see the new tone with my own eyes before I start serious complaining. But I do not welcome the change. There are things to build that are not just castle walls. Some things just need to be monochrome. And some pieces that I (...) (21 years ago, 24-Nov-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

        Re: New Colors... —Leonard Hoffman
(...) I have no problem with new colors, or even re-doing colors. The main problem to me is that old grey and dk grey are gonna be difficult to get. I'd like more grey so I can build bigger and bigger castles. But then again, I've got enough grey (...) (21 years ago, 24-Nov-03, to lugnet.castle)
