Only because I don't have that bird piece in black and, as I mentioned in my response to Dave, this MOC came together in a rush to debut on Halloween, so I couldn't order a black bird off of bricklink (indeed, I didn't even reallize the bird (...) (21 years ago, 1-Nov-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)
