I'm in -- just need to to get some pictures of some stuff together.
Perhaps we could do a Flash or otherwise vector based map of the castle world
so that the map is infinitely scalable. Once a final working map is available,
I might work on that side of things unless someone else wants it. We could
retain the pixel based image on the one page and set off a vector based map as
a linked page for those with vector/flash capable browsers.
I recently downloaded a vector image upgrade to Internet Explorer 5, but I
actually have no idea what it does or how its set up to handle vector images
having not researched it yet. I do know that IE5 has a new zoom feature for
images which doesn't really quite work the way its supposed to yet. Lots of
people must be waiting for support of vector based images on common browsers.
I guess I am just making some notes of things to consider...
