Quality is "not high" but not too low either. Only the mediocre is good
enough at Megabloks. Many parts are black with paint to achieve a "antique"
look.

The plastic is not soft and kind like LOTR bricks, and I'd say the special
pieces are better. LOTR rocks were not versatile, these are great. The
torches flames and weapons are way beyond any LOTR stuff.

Flag poles are weapons grade... banners are sculpted softer plastic. There's
4 studs across the pole top for the banner to hang on: high marks for this
piece.

The hand/tool fit crosses over ok! I'm not pleased with all the crazy
bashing weapons and the axes are impractical.. gimme an honest short sword
anyday.
All the 10 figures in this $30 set have unique heads. A big wall poster
shows all the characters in the line, they're differentiated by their
helmets or heads and the two armies have made-up pseudo Celtic and Saxon names.

$30 for the Sorcerer's Lair. $20 for slightly smaller Battle Gate. $5 for
"War Chest" tin - probably more warriors inside. Big set, Warriors Fortress
not here yet, probably $40.
Quite fair prices. But then the building set opportunities are few.
Megabloks cares far less than even Lego about the building possibilities. I
think I got my money's worth because individually all the pieces are
interesting in lots of ways. Plus they smell like paint. Maybe it's affected
my brain.
