Hi all,
I was at a WAMALUG meeting this weekend, and someone was kind enough to take
some pics of the MOCs I brought along.
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=14101
The castle like structure is the current project installment in my RBC (really
big castle) project, which should hopefully be finished in time for Brickfest.
I've been working on a castle for a while now, and this past week, I built the
part depicted above. It is part of an inner ward/bailey of a concentric
castle, which should measure aruod 20 (4 by 5) 32X32 peg baseplates when I'm
finished with it.
The ground floor will be quarters for servants and soldiers, and the upper
floor has a few corridors and bedrooms for the Lord and Lady of the castle and
other important guests. One of the towers has a HP spiral staircase built into
it. It's challenging, but certainly not impossible to fit one of the staircases
into a an actual tower(pic 8). The other tower has a sally port (pic 7 and 13)
You can't really see from the pics, but there is a corridor on the inside of
the door, and a second door that must be passed through to get inside the
actual building.
I apologise for not having more pics, hopefully I will get my computer
illiterate butt into figuring out how to use a digicam some time soon.
PLMKWYT!
cheers
Magnus
