| i had decided i should be trying some other style of building for a change. i had thought that trying some type of castle build would take me out of my comfort zone, but i didn't feel inspired. then the idea of bookends struck. the result: (4 URLs) (...) | (...) Oooh, that thatch effect is lovely...runs off to check...I have a couple hundred dark tan 1x2 plate, so could try it out! | (URL) Here's a viking village I made recently for Hartford KidsFest 2010. The inspiration actually came from doing a mock-up thatched roof design following a trip to Plimoth Plantation.
