| My Own Castle Competition. We are hereby happy to announce the official castle-building competition for the Castle Room at BrickFest 2004. The competition is pretty straightforward, but a lot can be done with it. It is the hope of the BrickFest 2004 (...) | (...) One of the things that made me question it are the figs. Those are NOT Duplo figs as we know them.... BUT then I saw the new Duplo sets on S@H - well see for yourself: (URL) -- check the fig standing. So it looks like Lego is changing MORE (...) | (...) Yes, and how big the margin would be. It could quite easily be real DUPLO, designed to compete with the Fisher-Price Castle. As far as its not having "LEGO" on the studs, most of them look hollow as DUPLO tends to be; furthermore, those (...) (21 years ago, 30-May-04, to lugnet.castle)

| (...) It looks like Tyco. No LEGO on the studs you can see, and what looks like 1/2 thickness plates. This could be a construct using a variety of bits & pieces (megablocks, Tyco, Lego), but I don't think it is lego, and I really doubt Duplo. Think (...) (21 years ago, 30-May-04, to lugnet.castle)
