  Re: banner year for castle

(...) I'll buy them as soon as I can afford it. Same goes for Jayko and Rascus, the KK Technic-scale castle figures. Yes. Remember that TLC can't just cater to us castle diehards. They have to cater to the kids too. Kids are probably more interested (...) (21 years ago, 18-Dec-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: banner year for castle

Hello! (...) That's exactly my thoughts. Thanks you pointed that out so clearly, I wouldn't have been able to do this in English ;-) Bye Jojo (21 years ago, 18-Dec-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: banner year for castle

Hello! (...) The set designers (at least those who are responsible for those banner-year-Castle-sets) don't have any fancy at all, no ideas, no inspiration. Poor guys, never had LEGO as child, only He-Man action figures... (...) Yep. Bye Jojo (21 years ago, 18-Dec-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: banner year for castle

(...) It may have some play value for some kids...but many kids will see these sets for just what they are...unattractive toys not worth nagging the parents about. I think we - and more importantly TLC - make too many negative assumptions about kids (...) (21 years ago, 18-Dec-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: banner year for castle

(...) Is there any chance that that picture is fake? The url certainly doesn't work and seems like something that someone might add just to make it seem real ... I guess it would take a lot of effort, but as someone pointed out, it just doesn't seem (...) (21 years ago, 18-Dec-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Classic Castle Adventures!

(...) Hi Glad to hear you're interested! I'll get right on your party registration. The "Beasts" are NPCs, meaning the Game Mediator controls them. The Player's only task is to either defeat or subdue the creatures (role-playing it well helps your (...) (21 years ago, 17-Dec-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: banner year for castle

(...) In other words, it wasn't good in the first time, why are TLC waste their time with it again instead of trying something new (...) I'm not very much fond of the original "Leo's Castle", but alot of non-LEGO people told me they think it's (...) (21 years ago, 17-Dec-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: banner year for castle

(...) Wow...this is quite pitiful...even compared to my (rather) moderate expectations for the year. Aside from alternate building (which seems difficult given the ratio of large components to small) and the available parts, these models just seem (...) (21 years ago, 17-Dec-03, to lugnet.castle)

(...) I'm fairly certain that the purpose of those two structures on the sides is to launch the horse-cart-thingeys at one another... for which regular horses clearly would not work. For a kid it probably will have great play value. Peter (21 years ago, 17-Dec-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

(...) reposting the link to pic: (URL) My first impression on the castle sets is that the minifigs look cute in their new armor...so the heros are designed properly.   Re: Farmers' Shop

  Farmers' Shop

Hi, I've just finished up my first attempt at a tudor-style shop, The Farmers' Shop has most everything a farmer could want, and if a farmer needs something special, the owner is willing to take custom orders.
