  Erik Amzallag's Tonquedec on Brickshelf

I don't think he posts here, but if so I apologize for stealing your thunder. Anyway, This large castle showed up on Brickshelf: (URL) The rounded towers and odd shapes are especially cool, IMO. Here's the rest of the gallery: (URL) I believe it is (...) (21 years ago, 3-Nov-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX) !

  New Castle/Pirate Sets???

Hey all, I've been hearing (or maybe that is more accurately reading) rumors of new Castle and Pirate sets on fbtb.net and CCC, but haven't heard any discussion here. Here's what I have heard: -An indeterminate number or smaller Castle sets -A large (...) (21 years ago, 3-Nov-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.pirates)

Re: Yet another 'based on CCC'-style Castle MOC...

(...) <snip> (...) Thanks. :) It's a skill born from necessity, really. I have a very limited selection of anything in any color. Now that I have Red, White and Black done, I was hoping to do Yellow, Blue and Green, but I haven't nearly enough (...) (21 years ago, 3-Nov-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: White Knight's Gate - first CCC MOC

(...) Hey Mike, Pretty good for improvisation. I have the same problem. I have a few Dragon Masters torsos and one wolfpack, one bull and one oddball I forget the faction of. Its the same with shields. Cheers, Joshua (21 years ago, 2-Nov-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: sets in 2004? Wish List

Re: sets in 2004? Wish List

(...) Trains? Who said anything about trains? I didn't see anything about trains! What trains are you people talking about? Steve (21 years ago, 2-Nov-03, to lugnet.town, lugnet.castle, lugnet.general, lugnet.pirates, lugnet.space, lugnet.starwars, lugnet.town, lugnet.trains)

Re: Yet another 'based on CCC'-style Castle MOC...

(...) Well done again. I would never have thought to use a road plate like that. You are demonstrating a tremendous skill to use whatever's available to create good castle stuff. So... blue next???? :) Alan (21 years ago, 2-Nov-03, to lugnet.castle)

  rate the minifigs

Using a Castle minifig such as the Forrest Men and Wolf Pack with no armor or Helmet and the Black Falcons, Old Lions, New Lions, Crossed Axes, Bulls, Dragons, etc with a Helmet. And the minifig with Scale Armor and the Knights and other minifigs (...) (21 years ago, 2-Nov-03, to lugnet.castle)

Yet another 'based on CCC'-style Castle MOC...

...this time in red. The Red Knight's Entry: a double gate with at least twice as many defender's as the White Knight. First, an overview of Black, White and Red together: (URL) Mod: (URL) seen in empty_magazine.jpg, I haven't finished arming the (...) (21 years ago, 1-Nov-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Once upon a midnight dreary . . .

(...) When were you a bow? I always thought of you as more of an arrow. (not a straight arrow, but I digress) (...) I can see "The Cask of Amontillado" as being pretty easy to do in a very nice way, ne? (21 years ago, 1-Nov-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Once upon a midnight dreary . . .

(...) Only because I don't have that bird piece in black and, as I mentioned in my response to Dave, this MOC came together in a rush to debut on Halloween, so I couldn't order a black bird off of bricklink (indeed, I didn't even reallize the bird (...)   Re: castles Mocs not mentioned on Lugnet (yet)...

(...) Hi Bruce, (...) I was wondered myself how come no one mentioned it. (...) Thanks, I love it too. It was added at really an advanced stage of that fortress. At first I thought to wrap it in a round yellow circle (or shiled shape) but because of (...) (21 years ago, 31-Oct-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: Once upon a midnight dreary . . .

(...) My mother would always dredge out a couple of Poe's works before Halloween and read them to me when I was a bow. I always liked the Raven (though heavens knows I was clueless to what "nepenthe", "seraphim", "Gilead", and "Aideen" were at the (...) (21 years ago, 31-Oct-03, to lugnet.castle)

Re: October 31st - Picture of the Day Vol. 2

Hi Jojo, I love the story and even more the great detailed picture. The brown chair is great, the idea of the guns there... so many brown parts, I never knew there was that window in brown. As some said before me the ink stain is a great touch to it (...) (21 years ago, 31-Oct-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Once upon a midnight dreary . . .

(...) Oh LOL. Nice job Bruce. I remember reading this a couple months back. You made a nice environment for his "room". That's a nice Halloween MOC you got. Happy Halloween! Dean (21 years ago, 31-Oct-03, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Once upon a midnight dreary . . .

Anthony, That's hilarious, and yet tragic, for we've all been in similar situations. My favorite line is: "I tried to catch the chips off-guard - I pressed again, but twice as hard." That one made me LOL. Bruce (21 years ago, 31-Oct-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: October 31st - Picture of the Day Vol. 2

(...) Cool. Thanks for the information. I almost wondered if it was some sort of pulpit or bapistry or something (because of the relief figures around the outside) that was being stored in this room for some reason. Now it all makes sense. Bruce (21 years ago, 31-Oct-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build)

  Re: Once upon a midnight dreary . . .

(...) That was really well done Bruce. Made me go into my files and dig out this thing I aquired a long time ago. It's off topic, but fun non-the-less. Suppose Edgar Allan Poe Used a Computer Once upon a midnight dreary, fingers cramped and vision (...) (21 years ago, 31-Oct-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.off-topic.fun)
