Re: Castle Ctuniie-My first castle MOC!!!!!

Will, Great castle! Your great hall has a very similar shape to the one on my own castle, I've found this a very useful design, offering plenty of space for a great hall, and also lots of space for individual rooms. Nice detail on that lance you (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jun-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Corner Tower for Modular Wall System

I was planning on building 4 towers of this design to be used as the "corner" towers for the town (the wall section connect to the tower to form a 90 degree angle). I was also planning on making towers of a different design to be used alonf the (...) (22 years ago, 7-Jun-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Corner Tower for Modular Wall System

Troy, Nice tower! Looks very solid indeed. Are you planning on building every tower exactly the same, or will they vary slightly? I think I would personally go for a tower that juts out a little more from the wall, to offer flanking fire along the (...) (22 years ago, 7-Jun-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Corner Tower for Modular Wall System

Thanks for the kind words Bruce. My plan is to build atleast 4 of these as main towers. That does not mean that the city will be perfectly square. I'm probably going to try some different towers as well, with different type wall connectors. The wall (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jun-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Corner Tower for Modular Wall System

(...) Troy, That's really nice! I really like that it's functional, too. My castles tend to be all show but no function. In part that's because I'm illustrating a story, so I'm just building for the camera most of the time, so often it's a facade (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jun-02, to lugnet.castle)
