  Re: StarWars rendered images

(...) Very nice! The shadows of the fencing are great. What are the ?creatures? behind the fence? Some parts appear to be glowing. Is that intentional? What parts library are the minifigs from? --Bram (24 years ago, 20-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Smoke-Clear color code (was: Problem with 1-4con1.dat)

(...) I don't think there is a sanctioned color-code yet ... checking ... checking ... nope, nothing in the color table in the FAQ. Hear Ye! Hear Ye!   Re: Problem with 1-4con1.dat

(...) I am using the color definitions from Anton's Lego library and these are the closest to real Lego colors i have seen. The only exception is black and transparent black that should be <0.2,0.2,0.2> Georg (24 years ago, 19-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.ray)

  L3P and part no 30359

While i was converting a dat file with L3P to pov i noticed that part no 30359 (the space laser) is not converted correctly. The base of the laser is too small. George (24 years ago, 18-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: Rendered image to jpg?

Hey thanks for all the help everybody. I just realized right after I posted that Pov Ray saves the renders as bmp's in my ldraw file. Doh.   Re: Some POV-Ray Questions!

(...) You add a "plane" object to your POV file, or the easy way is to turn on the floor when using L3P. If you're using L3PAO, all you have to do is click the checkbox. If not, run "l3p -h" to get the list of command line parameters. Adding a floor (...) (24 years ago, 18-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: Rendered image to jpg?

(...) There are better ways, especially if you want to preserve 24-bit color without a 24-bit color display. By default, POV outputs TGA files after rendering, but I don't know where. In povray.ini, there's a line that you can change to send the (...) (24 years ago, 18-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: Rendered image to jpg?

What you can do if you have Windows 98 is when you have the model in Pov ray hit the Print Screen button (top row, right side). Then open Paint, click on Edit, and then Paste, and boom there it is. Course you'll want to crop it a little bit and (...) (24 years ago, 18-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.space, lugnet.publish)

  Rendered image to jpg?

I have a really silly question. I finally figured how to use Pov ray a little but I don't know how I would go about saving my finished model after it's rendered, in another file format like jpg. I'm trying to put a few models on my website. Told (...) (24 years ago, 18-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.space, lugnet.publish)
