  Newbie having trouble ray tracing MLCad models
 
I need help. I am to ray-tracing Lego models. I haven’t done ray tracing for about 7-8 years, and want to ray-trace the models I created in MLCad. I have installed L3P, L3PAO, and POVRAY onto my computer. Everything seems to work fine with L3PAO (...) (22 years ago, 30-May-02, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.loc.us.ny.ny)

I work with large .DAT models (Datsville) and I mainly use my own utilities towards L3Lab and L3P. I suppose (...) (22 years ago, 30-May-02, to lugnet.cad.dev, lugnet.cad.ray)

(...) Given their small size, they will pretty much always look the same when used on a standing minifig (assuming there are no obstructions). (...) Hmm, draping software, that'd be garment industry CAD software. Brings back memories... I don't know of anything Ldraw or POV specific, but here's some nice reading on the subject.
