Hi,
I'm a newby and isn't familiar to any drawing system that we have at this
moment.
I made today my first model with MLCAD, witch is great, but every coin has a
back side.
some remarks:
1)Personally, i find the help file not enough detailed on how to use the
buttons.
(it took me a long time to figure out that you have to be in view mode to
activate the break points (STEP), what is the purpose from the MULTIPART menu?)
2)How can i zoom in on the activated element? I have to switch several times
between different zoom levels to see the activated element, especialy when
drawing a long item as a train car.
3)I downloaded the last version of the parts library, made a list (mklst.exe?),
installed MLCAD and went on browsing the parts. I do have in
different 'libraries' a error form showing up with the message:
*** The file 3-4ndis.dat was not found! Continue loading? ***
then you can click on a ** YES ** or ** NO ** button.
Clikking on the ** NO ** button doesn't work. You have to click on the ** YES
** button (sometimes several times) to get out, but it doesn't crash.
Is this normal ?
4) what do you mean, when starting up for the first time, with Lego Base Path?
Is this the path where the parts.DAT files are? I asume its so, but its not
verry clear, especially for a newby.
Anyhow, its a great program and i like it, my first creation is almost ready.
But i still have to learn a lot.
regards,
Ludo
