My other question is are there
any tips on doing angled building?

I've spoken to Michael (Lachman) about the need for better control of angled
pieces... it's easy to rotate a piece, but not to set the point of rotation..
my vote is for a point of rotation object that shows up in the view and can be
dragged around as easily as any element in the model. You could rotate about
this point, or around the center of the selected element(s) depending on a
toolbar switch.

For now I tend to line up all of my pieces orthogonally, then take the model
into LEdit to do my complicated rotations, at least that way I can press
ESC | T | C so set the center of rotation. I Hate having to go out of MLCAD,
but right now it just doesn't support rotation in a robust enough manner.

My $.02
