Hy,
As some of you might know, I'm currently implementing the possibility for a
user defined rotation point in MLCad.
This is the actual situation for the new version:
From a menu/toolbar/shortcut the user can open a dialog where the type of
rotation-point (part-origin, part-center, world-origin[0,0,0] and user-points)
can be selected. The dialog allows to define several user-points where the
user finaly can select from too. This dialog also provides a check-box to
select if the rotation point will be visible to the user or not. If enabled
MLCad displays a small special colored rectangle indicating the rotation
point. This rectangle can be moved in the views in order to change the
rotation point.
If multiple parts are selected and part-origin is active MLCad will revert to
world-origin instead.
What do you think about all this? Would that be usefull for the beginning?
Michael
